What is a Private Money Broker?
Intermediaries who bring together private money institutions and real estate investor-borrowers seeking short term funding for non-owner occupied real estate transaction. Rather than using their own funds to originate these loans, private money brokers gather paperwork from the borrowers and oversee the application & loan packaging process, or submission to the lender(s) for underwriting, approval and funding. The funds are then loaned in the name of the private money institution, to the investor-borrower, and the non-owner occupied is used as the sole/primary collateral.
